All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

hi guys

Due to my upcomming retirement next year - I need to reduce my power consumption and also replace my broken 3kw inverter - so I'm looking at this DEYE 8Kw inverter.

I already have 6 x 550w solar panels. so for now just looking at replacing the inverter - no battery - I will add this next year.

my needs during the day time:

1) run my new 1.1kw pool pump. (-+6hrs / day)
2) run my jojo tank pump - demand only
3) run tv
5) occasionaly run 1.2kw aircon
6) occasionaly once a week run washing machine / tumble dryer (not at the same time)

any thoughts & advice would be appreciated 👍

The 8Kw will be perfect to cover your usage at peak draw. If you have the space, add a few more panels so you can match or beat the invertor's 8Kw and of course the batteries for night time and bad weather.

If I can walk in and pay on pickup sure ill do it

The problem is they are the cheapest on many products to the point where most of their stuff is so cheap that I have not seen a single website go that low with their prices.

    While their website features highly generic, unverified client reviews . there is zero independent record of this company online. They have no established profile, no customer complaints, and no praise on credible South African consumer watchdog platforms like Hellopeter or the MyBroadband Solar Forums. [4, 5]
  • Missing Crucial Regulatory/Company Information:
    Legitimate South African solar distributors explicitly list their registered company details (CK/CIPC numbers) and active VAT numbers on their invoices or website footers to prove legal business status. Solar Web displays none of these verification details. [5]
If you decide to engage with them further, do not pay them any money via EFT or credit card until you can verify their legitimacy using these strict criteria: [1, 2]

Ask for a Physical Collection/COD Option: Tell them you are in Cape Town and want to pay cash/card on delivery, or that you want to send a courier to collect the inverter directly from their warehouse.
