Allergic to beer

SAB beers give me a headache after 1 or 2 but I can drink Tafel and Windhoek without issues.
The headache is caused by the effect of alcohol on the brain and body so unless Windhoek is alcohol free your diagnosis is wrong Dr.
Could it be that Black Label is 5.5% and Windhoek is less? What 4%, 4.5% or 5%??
It stands to reason that you should drink less Black Label if you want to avoid the effect of alcohol

One single thread and all of the men chime in to help a brother out.

This needs our utmost attention...

Snot. Not massive amounts.

The hypochondriacs friend aka google advises

1. Go for battery of allergy tests
2. Switch to ale (or, erk, Guinness)
3. Switch to spirits
4. Carry a bigger hanky

Seriously , there are all kinds of additives (not excluding the yeast) that you may be allergic to in beer

It may just be a mental thing, and you're right Tafel is only 4%, same as Castle Lite but tastes a helleva lot better.

Additives? Like what? Not in beers we get here.
Name an additive in our local beers like SAB & Namibia breweries? There isn't any

I also like Castle Lite its my beer of choice just based on taste over anything else. I wonder if it has something to do with that lower alcohol % that just makes it taste better to beer connoisseurs like you and myself :p

Got a snot nose on Castle Lite today.

my grandfather had a food sensitivity that was agitated by beer - yeast related - and beer and Marmite would make my sister's chest blockup when she was little ...
my sister dislikes beer intensely and the fairly severe sensitivity didn't stop him from dying a heavy beer drinker - he reckoned anti-histamines where invented for a reason

In reality of course people eat stuff that our bodies actually don't react well to all the bloody time

The imported ones do.

Sorry, missed Bio saying its from draught
Yeah well i'd put additives in my beer as well if it had to be shipped around the world. Beer doesn't age well at all so I guess one can forgive them.

One of my friend's is allergic to beer, he goes all red and his face starts swelling up if he has too much, funny as fsck. Probably not too healthy.
