Is it soy-free? Soy isn't good for you also
It is normal milk that has been treated to break down the lactose. So no soya content.

PnP should sell it. Tastes awful& is far more expensive than milk.
Rather buy parmalat's easy-geast milk. It's lactose free and avail in low fat or full cream
Look near the long life milks for both.
I tried a few of those other piss/milk immitations they we ratherAha, I missed this. Awesome suggestion, CG. It is treated with lactase which converts the lactose into glucose. It is the only conceivable reason I can think of for avoiding milk, and it is now solved. No need for these hippie, cloudy water solutions. The hippies just want you to eat more of the environment - they hate the environment...
We have "badaam-milk" on some Eid mornings or when Mummy or Babhi makes it. Home-made is the best.

If you are lactose intolerant, then fine, put yourself through it if you really want some nut-flavoured water (that's really all it is).
I've discovered a blessing in the first world: lactose-free milk, ice-cream, yoghurt, you name it![]()
The Parmalat stuff?
Another thing with regards to this is that the vast majority of people I've met who claim to be lactose intolerant are self diagnosed imbeciles. They claim it gives them gas or they had a stomach cramp shortly after consuming dairy, therefore they must be lactose intolerant. It boggles my mind that people can simply assume so when we are consuming multiple types of sugars, carbs, proteins, bacteria and enzymes each and every day in everything we eat, but all of a sudden some blonde bimbo farted like a Sappi factory and suddenly she's completed her medical doctorate and proclaims to be lactose intolerant. One also has to bear in mind the metabolic rate of lactose and the process it undergoes in the digestion tracts - it's typiclly not immediate. Let a doctor diagnose you properly if you think you might be lactose intolerant, and make sure that you are tested for it - there are numerous tests for lactose intolerance.
It might very well be a certain protein that your body struggles to process which might point to an actual physiological issue in your gut that needs to be addressed. It might be a pH imbalance in your stomach. It might be a bacterial issue. It might be a bloody spasm for all you know. Lactose sugars are pretty good for you - cutting them out on a whim is silly...
Mummy???
How old are you ?
You don't call your mummy 'mummy' anymore?
Do you use her first name now??
