Actually, for Christians it is a real problem. Go and read Psalm 8. Basically God created man a little lower than the Angels and put him in Dominion over all creation. But if Aliens (at least aliens that are more advanced than humans) are real, then it means that is not true, and the Bible must therefore be a lie.

From what I have "gathered" they only visit the US because the aliens have some sort of deal with the US Govt, hence the US is the one that controls this world(along with the Romans[pope] and Vatican in EU)

Or maybe there is something that the North American continent has, minerals? but good question none the less. I have also asked the same, the aliens have also visited Russia and many of the other EU nations...

Crazy thing is my friend in the US who is ALL about UFO's etc predicted that something major would happen on the exact date that Osama was killed, he said he read it on some secret IRC channel and he says something even bigger is going to be released to the public before the year is over...lol ****, I used to doubt him ever since we were kids but these days, he has been more right than wrong...SOMETHING is out there.

I already have my TINFOIL hat on just in case ;)

aliens have visited many 3rd world countries but we only see pictures/videos or read stories of them in 1st world countries because technology is more established in 1st world countries for people to relay the information to mass media and each other.

I can't figure out whether the appropriate response to this is to laugh at the funny Poe joke or to post a humorous image of a cat wearing a tinfoil hat.
 
There have been a few sightings in South Africa as well.

Most prominent is the SAPS helicopter chase over PTA.

At 4:00am on 28 August 1996 a glowing disc was sighted by sergeant Becker near the Adriaan Vlok police station, Erasmuskloof, Pretoria. The pulsating light contained a red triangle and emitted bright green tentacles, while a radar operator at Johannesburg International confirmed its presence. A chase ensued involving some 200 policemen and a police helicopter. The helicopter chase was given up at 10,000ft near Bronkhorstspruit, when the object made a vertical ascent.[19][20] An object was sighted again during the early hours of 31 August and 1 September.[21]

Wow, Wayne, interesting. I'd never even heard of that one.

What do you guys make of the UFO disclosure project? We often hear complaints of non-credible people making the claims and so on but aside from the idiotic actor bleating on about who-knows-what at the start of this clip, don't you think that these folks would be considered credible? I also find it interesting that more and more are coming forward. Had it been one or two moonshined hillbillies coming up with a story then I'd have been a lot more skeptical. Anyway, I find this stuff quite fascinating.

These messages were received via Sputnik? Yea right!

Apart from the obvious fact that Sputnik was Russian and, therefore, very unlikely that the NSA would have anything to do with it, Sputnik had an extremely primitive radio that was only capable of replaying a signal morse code signal endlessly and would have had zero functionality for relaying a signal from aliens or anyone else. Since Sputnik, at least 2000 satellites have been launched into space, and there have been no reports of them receiving and relaying extraterrestrial signals.

remember that one carte blanche of the guy that was taking photos in nothern south africa of the scenery, and then when he developed them there were UFO on some of them. seemed authentic to me.
