Alonso Whines

I still think though Schumie drove a very good race. He was driving 'die rooi gevaarte' like never before :D
Like I said in another thread, terrible luck for him the last 2 races but such is pro racing. Gotta take it as it comes. Karma / fate some may say.
I am almost very certain he would have won had he not had the couple of incidents in the last race.

Now I am looking forward to next year to see what's going to happen.

In recent seasons haven't a number of drivers driven from the back of the field to get a podium finish?

Quite interesting to talk about how similar their careers are, Schumie and Alonso.

Schumie raced for Benneton which evolved into Renault.
Schumie had similar amount of wins (think a bit more) with Benneton than Alonso has with Renault, before he moved on to Ferrari.
Only difference is Alonso moves on to Mclaren.

Yea, there's the big difference between them. Schumie joined a team that was in a bad place at the time and built it up. Alonso just joins the team that maximises his chances of winning.

On this season's performances can't really say that McLaren maximises his chances. And while ferrari was at a bad place, they certainly threw a lot of resources to fixing the problem. It's not like MS joined some small team.

Why do you keep looking for comparisons between Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso? We all know that there are none. Michael is a very good driver and Alonso can only look well if the other drivers have problems.

Lol!

Renalut weren't exactly winning at the time... Ferrari were... so what does Alonso do? Beat Ferrari in a Renault...
Man some people have their blinkers on... Michael couldn't have beaten himself in a Ferrari with a Renault :D

And as Jongi pointed out - Michael doesn't exactly earn his ridicuous salary - he didn't exactly come out with more than double the points of the next driver... And of course, Ferrari certainly have plenty of cash to throw into the effort... some poor teams have to run on old ferraris.

Check out post #52 of this thread.

Alonso is now a two time (consec) world champ.

Those are reason enough for comparisons!

Bllsht! What planet exactly are you on?:D
