Alpharev 1.8

Actually here is a run down of how mine died....

I wanted to use Ap2SD so formatted my microSD card ext4, the phone was rooted but had S-ON.
So I used this guide from cyaogenmod to flash hboot and get S-OFF using a goldcard. Started getting reboot loops for the 1st time. I thought I formatted the Ap2SD as the wrong type so pulled the card to see. Still got reboot loops. Left the phone for a day. Went I turned it on again it booted fine, but soon after rebooted on its own. Thats when I found if I leave the phone for a while it would boot up ok, then found the mention of placing phone + battery in the fridge.

Thought as a last resort I would try and return to stock to see if it would fix my problem.... well we all know what came after that

So youre now completely stock and still bootlooping? Maybe your SD card is at fault? you could try another one? just for giggles to see if it works?
Just a thought :P

Still had the reboot problem after I returned to complete stock hboot+rom.

Yep tried it with other cards as well, oh well its someone elses problem now.

HA!! alright I am now on S-OFF, at last!! I don't know what my phone was doing earlier but it worked after a couple of tries! I am still getting bootloops when flashing the Runnymede ROM though, I am busy downloading Gparted again just to make 100% sure my ext4 partition is fine, and if it doesn't work after that then I'll take it as a sign and use something thats not full of ****...

Excuse double post, just want to update the situation...

I went through all the steps a couple of times, and I was rooted and unrooted, S-OFF and S-ON a couple of times since yesterday! I came up untill the step where you S-OFF, but then after that my phone just freezes on the "Why so serious" logo forever (left it for 33minutes to make sure)

I just can't get RunnyMede to run on my phone. Needless to say that I gave up, and I am now running on CyanogenMod again, and I think I will stay here untill I upgrade phones in 6 months. I am still on S-OFF now, so thats at least one WIN I can take from this...lol
