Alphonzo Samuels is the chief technology officer at Telkom.
Samuels is responsible for the implementation of the functional separation of Telkom’s Wholesale and Retail divisions
Samuels joined Telkom in January 1984. During his 30 year tenure he has held positions in the infrastructure, planning and engineering environments.
More recently, Samuels has been taking care of the wholesale and networks organisation as acting MD.
Samuels holds a Bachelor’s of Technology (BTech) as well as a National Technical Diploma in Telecommunications and a National Diploma in Human Resource Management. He has also completed the Executive Leadership Program and the Program on Enterprise Leadership for Executives.
