Hi guys,

myself and quite a lot of other people are getting multiple emails from AltcoinTrader stating that failed login attempts are constantly happening, and accounts also getting blocked and unblocked without any interaction from the actual account owners. Do we know if the exchange infrastructure has possibly been compromised, or something to that affect?

Multiple users having this exact issue sounds like a compromised account list or at the very least registered email addresses. Don't know what to make of this, although I don't have anything on there currently anyway. Just thought I would throw it out there and see...

What is the purpose of making people reset their passwords, how can it help a hacker or is it possible that there are so many users that they have very similar email addresses to others and they mistyped an email when resetting in earnest?

Probably trying to get access to your email account as well.

Have received two in last week. One about 10 minutes ago.

Two on Monday for me, sign-in attempts from Mongolia and Ecuador.
This exchange is dodgy AF, wouldn't be surprised if there's a DB with their customers data floating around somewhere.

WTF is happening?
Got a mail to say my account was unblocked and then blocked again?
