Altech Technology Concepts rolls out wireless access services

Besides the price (and making a big assumption) I like the fact that someone is starting to advertise/sell internet access by speed, and not the ever imposing data caps. Now let us see others follow suite and start offering the average consumer something they can afford without the limitations, FUP's and the other restrictions currently on offer. All we need is internet access at X speed (to suite your budget), period.
 
I just read "competing against leased line" and started laughing my ass off. Almost spit out my coffee and choked on it.

This IS 2011 right?
 
So in other words they are a very expensive WISP :-) I am already offering a 10mbps VPN service to my clients in the ISM band. And i am small fry.

Price? Cap? Shaping policy? AUP? Contention? (max allowed tower congestion) Coverage?
 
ATC currently uses the 5.8GHz ISM band for its wireless needs, but Altech Technology Concepts (ATC) CEO Wayne de Nobrega said that the company is applying for licensed microwave spectrum, and will move over to licensed spectrum links when they receive this spectrum.

I wish all WISPs would do the same.
