I wanted to colour some coconut green to make some trees for lil ook's bday.

Basically, I was gonna use marshmallow modelling paste for the top of the trees. Going to use Gossips chocolate wafers for the tree trunk and stick the marshmallow on top.

And I thought to roll it in the coconut to make it look like leaves. But I don't have green food currently (can go buy some tonight). Just wondered whether there was any other alternatives to use.

this is what the trees look thus far

wtf do you do this? feeding your kids sugar is going "hey, here's some poison, drink up!"

personally I won't give them sweets till they're old enough to process it properly... I've seen my sisters 3 kids eyes light up and can see when they have had sweets. My sister denies it flat out but then the 2 eldest can speak now so they usually tell me what they had....

Bouncing off the walls isn't even close to how they get...

my kids luckily don't get like that. Besides, it is once a year for a bday, so why not?

Us non-parents are always the most opinionated !

Roast some coconut in a saucepan on top of the stove, for brown leaves, trunk etc.
