Thought I'd rather make a separate thread for this so as not to clog up the feedback thread too much.

What I like about the new EvoNet network is that my international latencies are much lower than it used to be on the previous one. I think it uses IS to breakout? Not sure, but as far as I know it does use the new submarine cable systems to get a faster route to the US and western Europe.

What other ISP's use the same breakout?

Obviously I want to move away from EvoNet. I've tried Afrihost but latency to Europe is about 40% slower than EvoNet. Ditto for WebAfrica.

AFAIK, IS is their breakout. Most other ISPs are still testing SACS, but should be using it next month for cheaper routing costs.

I'm on Telkom Internet, and it's going along quite nicely. I don't do much online gaming, but...

Blizzard's EU Overwatch/WoW server seems to be doing alright.

How is Vox's EU and US latencies lately? They also used to be really good if I remember correctly?

I am also keen to see what low latency alternatives are, so I am following this thread for sure :).

*edit*

@AfriMan Any chance you could give us an indication of how Afrihost will improve their latency for the future?

Currently on a capped Vox account with a Crystalweb DSL line in limbo.
