alternative to Internet Solutions as a corporate solution?

Im looking for some input here please , if anyone can help.

Our compay is currently with Internet Solutions. We have some fixed diginet lines, as well as one 4MB shaped uncapped account, which is like R3000 a month (which in itself is a joke!).

The line constantly has packet loss, and we cant take it anymore. Every test in the book has been performed, and finally IS came back to us saying

"sorry, but we have oversold the uncaped product so the quality is going to be bad. we are only getting more bandwidth in September"

so what we are supposed to sit around with a carp internet line for an entire month??

according to IS, this BUSINESS 4MB shaped uncapped account is in the same bandwidth pool as all these cheap 4MB uncapped accounts that are being resold... How retarded is that!?

In september, along with additional bandwidth, the "cheap uncapped users" will be placed into a seperate pool of bandwidth. THAT should be interesting.... So enjoy August while you can!

My question, what other alternatives do we have, as a business?

Try Vodacom Business

Vodacom is the largest ISP in the country at the moment. Give them a call as they do have a corporate solution.

We have the exact same problem. Also paying +R3k for a line that is never stable.

One thing though. Won't you loose you're fixed IPs when moving over to another ISP? Or is there a way to keep it?

Vodacom or MTN are the only reliable ISP's for corporates... (IS / Telkom is on a downward spiral at an alarming rate)
