I dont know why they dont offer trial accounts. I tried for a test account before I joined them but was told flat out NO.
In the end I took the plunge and went with Ti after chatting with some of the guys on their thread.
Never looked back.

They still offer the 25% discount but the term is 12months not 24. To end the contract you gotta pay 10% of the outstanding.

it appears the choice is between Afrihost or Openweb.
I have started the cancellation process with MWEB today. Since it will only be effected on the 1st of Jan 2014, that gives me more than enough time to test other ISPs and to make a clear decision.

I'm with WebAfrica on a capped account (RedAfrica, 30GB + 100GB 12-6am) which is enough data for me, if I schedule all the downloads. But daytime performance (when I work from home) isn't always great. (1-1.5Mpbs download on 4Mbps line)

Would a different capped/uncapped provider be better during the day, or do I need a business account for that?
