Hi All clever people :)

Got a question, which may have been answered before - I could not find an answer ........

Anyway, I am moving house (ADSL 10mg), and the new property I am moving into is a "Red Zone - High cable theft" aka Telkom. So no Telkom ADSL available .........

What are my options for alternatives - have asked Neotel - no data coverage  Iburst - been there done that - got a couple of T shirts.

Suggestions without donating my heart, liver and next 7 kids to the supplier ?

Thanks I appreciate all feedback

:)

http://sprintnet.co.za/prices/ They will prob work if you have coverage.

What's the area? There are WISPs who can help you out, but they tend to specialise in certain areas...

Area is Kloofendal in Roodepoort area. According to Telscum a "red high risk" area for cable theft

Thanks

You won't need to donate any body-part or kid.

Maybe just invest in a dongle and buy data airtime-for the dongle.

I bought a dongle for R 400.00 and then bought 3GB of data at R 149.00.

I'm unsure how many data you consume a month - but it's fine for now ...

Thank you for the suggestion.

I am on uncapped 10meg - so I consume data so thats not an option for me ;)

The majority of wireless service providers do not support the Uncapped model in the way of making it very expensive and utilising extreme throttling coupled to an onerous FUP.

You will need to adjust your usage patterns drastically.
