You need to do that at the offices. I have learnt that no matter what you do, you need to at least go into their admin offices. It is the only way I have managed to sort out my registrations.

For me it was a different solution, way different. Involved a very well worded email (Yes, I can also be serious). Sent off to the right people, you get a lot of results.

Unisa have just confirmed my registration for this year. I was hoping to do the entire course in one year but unfortunatly it has to be done over two years .

So you are registered for Bsc Hons after doing the DipIT and Advance Dip in Info Resource management?

I've just finished the Advanced Diploma. I've applied for the BSc Honours in Computing and last I checked it was a possible route. Still waiting for the final acceptance letter. I'll update here as soon as I know more.

Hi

I want to do the Advanced Diploma as well.
How was the course? Did you study full time the year that you completed it or did you work as well? How is the difficulty of the modules?

Thank you
Susan

Both actually . I took all the modules, but was also working full time. I managed to do it, but to be honest I did not have much of a social life. I basically got up and studied, went to work, got home and studied, ate, slept and repeat. It wasn't too difficult but I found it quite boring. It's based heavily on ITIL and I'm more of a developer. I would've preferred more Computer Science modules, but maybe it will come in useful one day.

Thanks for the info! I am also working full time, would like to finish it in a year as well. Did you apply for the course while you were still doing your Dip? If you don't mind, can you send me some of the tutorial letters from the modules? Would like to get an idea of what to expect, before I do it.

Thank you
Susan

Yes I applied during the last semester. I was only officially accepted much later, after the final exams were written. I don't have any of the tutorial letters any more. Many of the modules make use of various parts of this book: http://www.amazon.in/ITIL-Service-Operation-Management-Practice/dp/0113313071
