Alva or Delta Zero Start Gas Geyser?

HI All,

I have a rather large house I am busy subdividing for rental purposes.
At the end of the day it will consist of 6 separate units.
I did the math, and on a 60amp electricity feed, there is simply just not enough electricity available to spread out over the 6 units each each with their own electrical oven and electrical geyser.
So Gas it Is.

Been looking at various options for Gas Geysers, and have determined that the low water pressure (zero start) geysers might be the way to go, factoring into account that more than one tenant might be inclined to shower, do dishes, etc etc at the same time.

Best prices I've seen for 16l Zero Start Geysers are from Delta and Alva. (Alva coming in slightly cheaper)

Both Geysers look practically identically, with identically specs.
Not surprising considering that Delta Engineering (Who Currently Make the Delta Geysers) were the founders and manufacturers of Alva Gas Products as well before selling off the Alva brand to the Stingray Group awhile ago, which now is the new Alva owner.

So my questions are this:
1) Are the 16L Zero Start Delta and Alva GAs Geysers the one and the same thing?
2) If Not, which would you think to be the better of the 2 Units?
(Any Alva or Delta Zero Start Gas Geyser Owners Opinions and Experiences would be IMMENSLY Appreciate, as there really doesn't seem to be much reviews or info available regarding these two GAs Geysers online)

And lastly, yes, considering installation and unit costs for 6 gas geysers, going for a more expensive brand such as Paloma, Bosch, Rinnai, Dewhot units are simply not an option!
So Please keep that in mind before simply suggesting a more expensive variant other than Alva or Delta.

I'm not sure about the above mentioned brands, however I use an Atals 20lpm gas geyser at my house for the winter period, and it "chews" through gas. We are 5 ppl at home with 2 long haired females and we go through 48kg's a month. That's 2 showers per person per day.
After doing some research I believe the "intillegent" gas geysers use gas more sparingly..
Just thought I'd give you my experience if you were not familiar gas geysers..

Thanks for the input, by my calculations that is actually not to bad gas consumption for the amount of time the geyser is in use...
If there are 5 people showering a day at an average of 8 to 10 minutes per shower per person, then that averages approx 45mins per day.
Multiply that by 31 days for the month gives you a total of 1395 minutes or 23hours 15mins that you are burning gas for use in the shower.
So you are actually using 48kg of gas for 23.25hours, which works out to (48 divided by 23.25)
2.07liters of gas per hour.
If you all shower twice a day that works out to:
1.04litres of gas per hour

For a 20lpm geyser that is actually quite good usage for winter where you might have your burners running at (what I assume would be) almost max capacity!!!

I was looking at the Atlas Geysers as well, but as this is for a rental unit, costing is a big factor.
The most affordable semi-known geysers I could find were the Delta and Alva, though apart from name/branding, they would appear to be almost the one and same unit????

So just trying to source some info and user reviews/experiences on those 2 units.
Particularly on the ALVA Model, of which there doesn't seem to be many use reviews around online...

We are a dealer of Delta and I use one at my house/ I have a gas stove as well. Currently I have a 16l zero start running on a 19kg gas bottle. The gas lasts us about 3 months (Just me and my fiancé) Our stove runs on a 9kg bottle

So my questions are this:
1) Are the 16L Zero Start Delta and Alva GAs Geysers the one and the same thing?
Basically they are the same
2) If Not, which would you think to be the better of the 2 Units?
I prefer the Delta, but i am biased as I have not used the Alva

I agree. That's not bad.
Assuming a flow rate of 10 litres per minute for a more efficient shower head that works out to about 13950 litres of hot water.

Assuming the heated water temperature is 45 degrees Celsius and the incoming water temperature is 15 degrees Celsius during winter, it would take 1752 mega joules to heat 13950 litres of water.
That equates to 486.62 Kwh of electricity which works out to R1216 worth of electricity at R2.50/kWh.
That's the cost of a 48kg LPG refill but geysers are not 100% efficient and lots of municipalities charge more than R2.50/kWh.
