I've got an SIII and the other day while connected an AlwaysOn hotspot, managed to register my Samsung device successfully - as well as downloaded the AlwaysOn Samsung application. The Wifi is always on, so every Wimpy, M&B etc I visit it connects to the SSID ...

... but the problem seems to be once it has connected, I need to open the AlwaysOn Samsung application and click 'Login' before it's on the network. Is there anyway to make this process automatic - so once it sees the SSID and connects AND links to the network?

The problem I keep running into is when it connects to the AlwaysOn SSID but I don't click logon, it kills off my 3G data throughput. Irritating when you're on the fringes of an AlwaysOn hotspot that you don't even know.

Time to upgrade to a real smart phone and get an Iphone...

Oh, cool, I see your Avatar Pic is Ruckus, are they good ? compared to 3com and hp?
we are looking at rolling out something at our new office block in Midrand

I'm not sure whether to insult you for the Apple comment - or commend you for looking at Ruckus ;)

I'm sure I can the issues separate though :P An iPhone to me is a downgrade from even an S3, never mind the S4.

On the Ruckus side, you probably won't get any better ...

Which distributor/reseller can I contact with regards to Ruckus Wireless, we need a site survey with RF mapping to be done as well :)

Use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.uk.syslynx.wifiwebloginapp

It works well for me.

Sorry for the late reply - doe it work well for you on alwayson or another network?

Alwayson doesn't link me to a web page - I have an app to click login on. Unless this is simply a shortcut instead of the page? I'll double check when I use alwayson again. Thanks!

seems to be a always on problem...
I find my Iphone 5 does not even connect .... at least with my S4 after some time i get connected ... the ALways on app for Iphone is a waste of time.

I have to manually connect via the browser.
