Am i going mad ?? ADSL Line help needed

anyway long story short

Line was up for 1 week when they installed then it rained on sat and sunday line drops everytime
reboots my router and keeps doing that for like 15min before its stable

Phoned telkom and they busy with it ??? got no idea what it is

then yesterday i noticed that if i switch the kettle on my line drops !!! dont understand

what you guys thisk it could be

What ISP are you with?

First deal with your ISP unless that is ALSO Telkom. If things continue, open up a ticket(fault), if they are ignoring you, you need to shoot an email as well, if that fails, you need to visit them at the Telkom DirectShop and have a personal convo with a manager.

You have to be aggressive these days.

your adsl line drops when you switch on the kettle, is your line not running near the power lines as far as i know it can cause problems if the line is too close to the power lines

Does your router reset or does the line just drop?

try to plug the router into another plug? Seems like there is problems with your power lines not telkom
