Because VUMA and the like builds their own infrastructure, they completely avoid Telkom, so there is no need for IPC costs or anything

So will this be a slow death for IPC, because only Telkom serviced areas will route traffic through it as the fibre footprint of other infrastructure providers increases? (other than DSL traffic, which I assume has to go through IPC).

Until Telkom kills it, no. But it will show that other providers are cheaper, and more and more people will leave telkom.

I know in most areas that Telkom and another provider is active, the other provider wins
