Then at least state that caveat instead of just blanket saying "it may not be 4k".... context is important my son.
Reading my post again I can see where the confusion could occur
It could either sound like I was warning people (it may not be 4k) or downplaying it when connected with the rest of my sentence, followed by 'but'.
But Hisense etc have always been true to their word in terms of the resolution of the panel....
True that. I don't think they had any claims to the contrary, but I do recall the scandal a few months ago where certain manufacturers claimed TV's to have FHD support, when what they actually meant was that the TV processor could downscale 1080p content to fit the 720p panel.
Rather safe than sorry and all that
