Amazon discontinues WikiLeaks hosting

What do you think about Amazon's decision to cut loose Wikileaks

I heard some guy, reporter on 702 this morning, discussing this Wikileaks saga.
He made some excellent points, said what do we actually know about this Asange?
Said how can they call themselves reporters?
Also said that he supports the release of certain documents up to a point and stressed that Wikileaks must have some kind of Agenda as they are very secretive.
He made some excellent points.

I agree... those are things I have been asking all along.

When the guys own employees no longer want to work with him... and when he is being hauled up on charges in a country like Sweden (who doesn't have to take the USA's crap), then you have to start asking some serious questions.

The guy comes across as if he thinks he is some kind of new age messiah... and posts "insurance" on the website in case he gets taken out. Can we say martyrdom complex???

And it is one thing... to be given information freely... but when you are given information that was obtained illegally, then your organisation better be willing to bear the consequences of such actions.

Um, do YOU have any evidence that we can trust this guy? Other than that you saw his pic on the internet and saw a youtube video on which he sounded like a nice guy?

You do realise that you have no more reason to trust him, than I have not to trust him.

Or to put it another way... those of you who accuse us of blindly supporting the US are doing exactly the same thing by blindly trusting this guy! :D

I'd like to see if PayPal and Amazon will be consistent here. After all, if they ban Wikileaks they will also have to ban all the companies that worked with WL to get the information out there. The ones that asked then to release it and helped with the redactions.
