Figured this is an awesome deal for me to finally get to fiddle with Alexa but simply can't get it to complete the checkout process, possibly because I'm not completing the AGS address correctly.

Has anyone else possibly done this today and gotten anywhere?
 
I'm intimate friends with Alexa on my Fire.
The only thing she does well is sing and tell jokes though.
She refuses to work in the kitchen as she should.

Damn - by the time it gets here that $10 auto renewal will be the equivalent of at least two standard priced Echos.

Try move your AGS code out of the address and as part of your name. See if the address then work?

You can just cancel that immediately though.

And you need to go see what the standard price amounts to now, it’s not fun.

Do you just have one shipping address?

Got an error message 'cos I had the original US address I used to open the account as well as the forwarding address. Deleted the original and problem seemed to be solved.

I get this error, before even selecting my address:

Yeah I tried a new Amazon account even and thought I was winning but then got the same failure so there is some weird check in place somewhere.

Maybe they are monitoring freight forwarder addresses for these specials or something.
