iphone 5s $649 for a 16gb, $749 for a 32gb

I do not think you can use an iPhone as a yardstick for value for money

Looking at this and the market where the phone will be initially released, the price is more than reasonable when including Amazon Prime. Besides the third-party content providers, Amazon do have a comprehensive CDN globally in place, providing high availability.

Too many devices too much hype around the release of each. I'll stick to my common sense and shop wisely. And in the case of new products like this one i'd rather wait for the second generation just to see if it's worth it

Apparently build quality and camera is similar to high end Android phones but not as good as the 5S or selected Nokia's.

Wait,what?

I know you're an iphone fan but that statement strange as the Sony z1/2 and HTC One's both have fantastic build quality on par with Apple and Nokia.

Lg and Samsung make the plastic built high end droids.
