Yesterday I was live streaming from Amazon Prime using my Roku and a 50 mbps line It was buffering and dropping all the time - I switched from TV and Roku to my computer No buffering perfectly clear picture and sound Coincidence??? From what I have seen on social media it seems that buffering and dropped signal seemed to be the norm on Smart TVs as well Is this true?

I watch Prime frequently without any major issues? I have a Samsung Smart TV. I only have a 8mbs line (used to be 2mbs before that and even that worked ok)

I had a lot of issues with Showmax, especially during Game of Thrones seasons - some nights it was just unusable, as in completely unable to even start the film, or would freeze a few minutes in and then the whole thing would crash and then be unable even to start Showmax after that.

I haven't noticed anything similar on Prime. I don't watch every night though.

Alan I watch series and movies on Amazon without a problem My point relates to a live stream of a soccer game

Can't see that as the only thing that I changed was the output Instead of Roku & TV I switched to Computer and TV I was wondering whether the Processor or Graphics card were the reason or do I need a new Roku I have a Roku Premier+ linked by Ethernet cable I switched to Computer and Ethernet cable Ii only did this during Amazon Prime live streaming - Live streaming on NBC SN on my Roku is fine
