AMD needs to catch a wake up...

Not sure how pcint get the pricing they do but they are insane compared to a place like frontosa.

Most of the distributers rip off so badly it is sad in all honesty, check frontosa's VGA pricing, nothing short of crazy if you ask me.

That's the problem I've been seeing as well. I like dealing with Frontosa as they have a very large range of stuff, unlike the likes of Rectron and Axiz, etc. However, it just seems alot of them are offering close to retail pricing. It's just damn difficult getting to whoever their supplier is.

Are these suppliers not perhaps sourcing from the likes of Corex? Or is Corex at the same level as all of them?

It's hard to consider PCInt being compared to "retail pricing". If I think "PCInt" and "retail", I can only think "anti-competitive". :D Online shops are still at ±10% mark-up, regardless of suppliers' prices (Frontosa's at least) fluctuating according to the market.

Frontosa has some good graphics card prices, but after seeing Esquire's specials, I am starting to agree with you more.

Looks like Esquire sourced those directly. It comes down to brand. Frontosa don't do that brand, they do more XFX and Sapphire, etc. There are tons of manufacturers out there that simply rebrand example boards from chipset manufacturers.

That said, awesome pricing from Esquire on those cards. :)

What I don't quite get is how, for example, the likes of sybaritic can offer products at less than the prices from distributors such as Frontosa, Rectron, etc. Ah, the power of bulk buying I guess. Very difficult for a small reseller to compete against.

Such as? Cheaper than Frontosa cost?

I've seen an AMD CPU on Sybaritic about as cheap as Frontosa. But it could be due to different reasons. They can always sell it at cost price and not lose anything (if the online shop has stock that isn't selling etc). They can also negotiate bulk prices, etc.

It was some laser printers I was looking at this past week. And previously some motherboards as well.
