AMD Radeon 7990

Hello all

I'm new to the forum and want to know people's predictions on the 7990's release date, possible specs. I am a bit of a Nvidia fan boy, but nevertheless I was about to buy a 6990 since I saw that it was marginally ahead of a GTX 590, then I saw the 7990 was "supposed" to release at the end of this/beginning of next month, do you think it's going to be the same way around? AMD releases a dual-gpu card months before Nvidia, then Nvidia release a dual-gpu card that can't match it?

Can't wait till it comes out, with 6GB of VRAM its definitely going to be a beast, price here, should be about 8k right?

Before investing in a 7990, you may want to check out the Saphire HD 7950 OC Edition. Not nearly as fast but best value/peformance ratio(reviewed in UK PCFormat magazine, April 2012 issue).
