Recently got the first gen Zen based embedded APU in a HP t540, it's the R1305G with Vega 3 graphics. Pretty happy with it so far.

So fancy it still has the plastic covering the shiny bits.

I've been looking for a low-power work PC. Looking forward to seeing what NUC style solutions end up making use of this.

NUCs uses fans for cooling, thin clients typically are under 10watt and uses passive cooling.


Way better power consumption than the i7-4770K it replaced; the Vega 3 graphics is a tad better than the HD 4600 - the CPU however is not even close.
