Americas Army exe corrupt

I have just spent the last 2 days downloading Americas Army, I have just run the .exe and right at the very end I get an unexpected end of archive error and it says I must download a fresh copy

If I open the file in Winrar I can extract all the cabs except the Americ~2.cab. Any idea what I can do? Anywhere I can just download that cab.

I downloaded v 280 exe version btw

It basically tells you to download the shareware version of WinRAR and try to repair the AArmy archive.

Did you download AA from the SAIX gaming portal? Because I did at the beginning of the year and got the same error at like 96% or so.

Check the forums boet (www.americasarmy.co.za) for someone who is in JHB.
They'll give you the game on a DVD.
Someone in CPT (name escapes me) did for me.

You also need to get v283 patch - lots of bugs fixed and some nice improvements. Not sure if you need 281, 282 and 283 or can just download 283 and apply?

Yip thats where I got it from....How did you fix it?

Otherwise download the full latest version in the 512mb chunks. I think most download managers will croak downloading a file bigger than 2gb

Try to find a torrent of that exact file. You can set it to download to your current file, and with some hash checking it will only download the broken parts again.

Archive repair is almost never good enough

I need the Americ~2.cab - Not sure then, maybe you dl a different Version or diff setup. I just dl the AmericasArmy280.exe - which contains 3 cab files. 2 are fine but the Americ~2.cab is the buggered one.

Not a bad idea, however I am capped....But if downloading that cab from doesnt gregmcc work then I will give that a bash when my cap resets.
