Hi all,

Just found out that there is a MASSIVE v3.0.7 update coming, actually, it's out, if you have STEAM, it should be downloading...

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of America's Army 3. In version 3.0.7 were taking you back to basics - Basic Combat Training. By the time you read this announcement, we'll have reset the training portion for the personnel jackets of all America's Army 3 players. Weve done this to allow everyone to achieve the benefits of BCT. To challenge you and make Basic Training even more interesting, we're launching our most extensive video Mission Challenge to date. Is this Americas army 3? Or americas army 2 version 3.xx update? I have AA3, but unfortunately no one plays on the local servers. Wish I knew that before I downloaded 1.5gigs worth of updates :confused:
 
I would not be surprised if the uptake is a bit slow after the fail launch. The diehards stuck around for a while but lost hope and confidence in the defs as things got worse. There will be a lot of people who will wait and see if AA disappointments again, me included. With a patch that big they might as well relaunch the game. Their timing is tough right before the launch of BF BC2 which has a lot of good reviews at the moment in the same genre and COD MW2 which has a big following already.
 
Ag, it's a free game, I downloaded it when I was on Neotel, so I'm not to phased, but it's nice to play now and again.
 
Used to play AA2 for hours on end and got quite high up. With the fail of AA3 i've never got back into it.

I've got some local bandwidth to waste my maybe I"ll download the patch and try again.
 
Could someone please answer my question?

I have the latest version before this. How big is this update?
