The NAS looks fine its the link (backbone) to the NAS

must be because when u ping the same NAS you get decent pings but for me that NAS is my 1st hop and its very high latency. only thing that can cause high latency is the route to that NAS?

Why doesn't Amobia have a message on their homepage where you can check when they have problems? It will save a lot of phone calls and avoid unnecessary frustration.
