Also thought about what her parents said about opening a foundation to help people with drug problems. Maybe I'm being cynical but I think the parents should just shut the fck up and grieve in quiet. They couldn't help her, maybe she didn't want help but they're really in no position to be acting all noble. She was a druggie, why does everyone want to suddenly honour her and make her out to be something great. What a waste.

Maybe because she was talented?

She was nominated for 6 and won 5 Grammy's. She was one of the most honored artists of 2007. She won a Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist as well as best UK Female artist. Her album Back to Black holds the record of the 4th most honoured album by the Grammy Awards.

Granted she was troubled and music taste differ so no-one expects everyone to like her music, but seriously, tell us what have you achieved by the age of 27?

Never. Just because something is potentially bad for you doesn't mean you should not be allowed to indulge in it. If it doesn't hurt anyone else and you think the high is worth the potential damage go for it.
