ANC distances itself from Malema's comments

In Julias' defense (and Lord knows, he needs one!!), the journalist apparently also uttered the words "that's a joke" and "rubbish!". I presume that would be considered part of the provocation.

Get your white face out, you bloody agent.

Ummm ok no worries there bluno, seems normal :D.

He said that after Malema went off.

He said "rubbish" when madbucket attacked him - not before. I am not sure when he said "that's a joke", but go watch the vid on youtube.

I never saw it on the telly - heard this morning on Gareth Cliff's show as I was driving - so I could of missed that.
But I'm sticking with the sentiment in earlier post :)

Have seen the video a few times, but it's difficult to make out exactly what the journalist said, also because the cameras were (obviously) not on him.

LOL killa!

Actually, my face is green : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=115693475114020&index=1#!/group.php?gid=109242665772785&ref=ts

/me waits for the 3pm denial that this was ever said, or that it was misquoted.

+1

10am: ANC declares the sky is blue
12.15pm: ANC denies reports it said the sky is blue

It's always the same.

The ANC would also like all South Africans to condemn the behaviour of the AWB General Secretary, Mr Andre' Visagie, when he threatened a political commentator at the eTV broadcasting studios. This action by Mr Visagie equally does not augur well for the freedom of expression, as enshrined in our constitution. What is even more glaring on this matter is that Mr Visagie threatened a woman political commentator with the intention to harm during a live TV broadcast.

That is such bull****. I watched the interview and there was hardly any intention to harm anyone. He didn't raise a fist or do anything that would have made anyone think he was going to harm the commentator.

Well in fairness i don't think bluno was defending him as such just pointing out the journalist may have said more than we know.

Thanks killa.

We were all straining to hear what exactly the journo said and I simply put in my 2c as to what it could have been .

Mr Visagie did lose his cool, but that is understandable. The lady did not give him a chance to respond to any of the questions before him. The interviewer handled the discussion badly. He could have asked Ms Pheko to let Mr Visagie speak his mind. And then he wnet on to touch Mr Visagie and then he flipped and acted like a school boy when Mr Visagie touched him back!

any ways, dont touch me on my studio or I will do a Malema on you :D:D

Yes he lost his cool...but the ANC are trying to portray him losing his cool as intent to harm someone of colour. The ANC are trying cheap tactics in an attempt to make themselves look like they're not the only ones at fault.

actually in the video you see the interviewer guy is the one raising hands/touching...

I also consider this just lip service by talking heads, until we see some action, such as kicking the dumb ass out of the ANC organisation, and if this doesn't happen it's confirmation that the ANC condones his action.
