ANC distances itself from Malema's comments

When Julius talks about the struggle, he is of course referring to his seven years in high school.

At last a strong message toward the Ju-Ju. I just hope the ANC sees it through and do not back out of it later on this afternoon or when the wind changes direction, as been past practice.

Strong as a wet paper bag.

i heard on the ecr news this morning that the bbc journalist made a statement to the effect that malema lives in standton. that's when malema went baserk and let some words out his mouth that made no sense at all. after all it doesn't matter what he utters, it actually doesn't make any sense at the end of the day.

Have seen the video a few times, but it's difficult to make out exactly what the journalist said, also because the cameras were (obviously) not on him.

There is a transcript in another thread.

Seems inkwenkwe was saying the people who live in Sandton shouldn't comment about what goes on in Zimbabwe. Then the jounalist asks if inkwenkwe lives in Sandton.

Since when has a meglomaniac aresho!e ever made sense?

THis is the latest I saw...

Malema called BBC journalist, Jonah Fisher, a "bastard" and an "agent" before booting him out of the media briefing.

This was after Fisher had quipped that Malema lived in Sandton while the youth league president chastised Zimbabwean political party, the Movement for Democratic Change, for operating out of offices in Johannesburg's upmarket Sandton.

Do you recall AIDS shower boy Zooma's instructions that the bling car purchases must and will stop? - well it didn't stop, and he did nothing about it.

Do you recall zuma giving mugabe kuk before the elections? Do you recall who got invited to the party after?

I also consider this just lip service by talking heads, until we see some action, such as kicking the dumb ass out of the ANC organisation, and if this doesn't happen it's confirmation that the ANC condones his action.

Unfortunately, only the ANCYL can kick out Malema because the youth league functions as an autonomous body within the overall ANC structure.

The ANC won't get rid of Julius soley because Julius' support base (and in turn a portion of the ANC's support base) will dwindle away if they do get rid of him. And right now the ANC have to hold on to every supporter the can string in.

Is the ANC not losing support because of him?
