Much has in fact changed. For the first time public figures with strong ANC pedigree have openly shown their disgust with the current state of the party. Under Zuma's administration, protesters have been murdered by the state, press freedom has been limited, factionalism has become a destabilising force within the party, political protests place SA as a protest frontrunner globally. People didn't fight for freedom to have Zuma's ANC erode their freedom. All of this under a cloud of corruption and state capture. These are not the ANC's strongest days. And for the first time, this is reaching the general population as polls show.

I think that what is being said here is that the majority of people in SA, who happen to vote ANC, despite the protests against THEIR choice, despite the corruption that has hurt them the most and despite them being being screwed ten ways from Sunday - they are thicker than double thick cream and will likely vote ANC again.

Dumb is worse pandemic than AIDS in South Africa .... unfortunately.

One thing is true is that they are more powerful than the highest court in the land and the Constitution.......

what does being powerful have to do with running a country correctly. what a drol. the anc is based around overthrowing a government, now its still stuck in that mindset("more powerful than ever") and its overthrowing itself. ama zing.

Yeah .... Darth Vader was a powerful sucker and he screwed up the Empire, not to mention that if JZ is so powerful why has got such small joules?

Am just afraid that we don't get another President like Zuma, I don't care if ANC is stronger or flat or weaker as long as we get a decent President. I have no problem with the organisation itself and cannot say ANC is rotten but rather say individuals in the ANC are rotten and corrupt. They will win the next election by what numbers I don't care as long as we get a "decent" president not a puppet like Zuma.

Don't tell me ANC don't have someone like that and don't hate the organisation just because of few corrupt comrades. You can't wrap DA as racist just because some of its members are racists..... thus reminds me of the car stickers that says "a black man is always a suspect"

Is it your responsibility to "hope" the next president is not as corrupt and rotten? Or is it the responsibility of the ANC to remove their corrupt president? Help me understand. As an educated person, how can you be comfortable voting for an organisation which does not hold its president accountable?

Who do you think should take the seat that wouldn't be corrupt, surely you can name at least minimum 5 people?

remember he is a puppet as you said yourself.

even if another person gets chosen, he too will be a puppet.

it is the puppet masters(anc bosses) behind the poster boy(puppet zuma), that is the problem as well.

no matter if you change the window dressing, the products of the shop are the same.

and there are racists all over the place, not just the da, doesnt make it right though. "the da people is always a suspect" :p
