Even 4 Million will be too much, how can these people justify this when there is so many a million underprivileged and previous disadvantaged going hungry and battle to make a living. This is BAD!

What kind of lounge is this exactly?

Article says "networking lounge" but I don't really know what that means. :confused:

Are they gonna have a major LAN or what? :D

Reminds me of what someone said about .com companies in the '90's.

You can judge the successful companies by the furniture in their reception areas. The money makers have average stuff, the guys that were blowing away all the capital money had all the fancy furniture.

Maybe the ANC will be going .com bust soon? ;)
 
we can only how for the anc bubble to burst :) ..... I don't mind them ruling ... its don't care attitude that I have a problem with !!!
 
More money well spent. The originator of this brilliant idea will probably get a million rand incentive for such a bright idea.
 
What a scam, they're not really spending that much money on the lounge, its just a way to fund the ANC through taxpayers money.

Simple Consice Logical English please.

The real issue is .. WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BENEFIT FROM PROFITS FROM AN EVENT LIKE THIS, WHERE ONE SEAT COSTS R5M, AND, DOES GOVERNMINT HAVE TO BE THERE IN EVERY FACET AT R5M A SEAT?

And, where is the tender for the hosting of this "function", and were the proper procedures followed?
