ANC members assault DA MMC

ANC councillors Makhi Feni and Andile Lungisa approached the speaker’s bench,

This little s*** was involved in the kissing festival debacle and had a fraud case against him dropped recently.

The fact that we can’t have glasses and glass jugs in council is an indictment on us.

ANC members should be given plastic cups. The rest could have glasses.

In fact, Anc members should not be allowed to attend at all. They should get notes afterwards and should be allowed to only submit written replies.

‘Councillor seen with a knife’

Speaking outside, ANC Regional Task Team spokesperson, Gift Ngqondi, said the shot had been fired by the chief whip, Werner Senekal, and said the ANC would be seeking to press charges against him.

Trollip however categorically denied this, saying the shots had been fired by a security guard.

“The shot was not fired by chief whip Werner Senekal. There is an investigation. The round cartridge is available and will identify which firearm it came from,” he said.

Trollip said that Senekal had been stabbed in the back by a sharp object during the ruckus and had not had a firearm.

“One of the ANC councillors was seen with a knife in the council chamber. We do not bring firearms to council. We don’t bring weapons to council,” he said.

Trollip said steps would be taken to upgrade security at the council.

Hope the charges stick this time. Surely the ANC will take steps to fire these people even if it is just to save face?!

I understand that the entire chamber is covered by CCTV.

I'm sure it must be. Would love to see this fracas in all it's glory.

If it all goes to court we may just get the opportunity.

Andile Lunigsa, lol, why is he not in jail.

What did you expect, they learn about throwing rocks from a young age..

Decolonise the chamber, let them bring their own water in a calabash, sheep's bladder or something.
