ANC: No chairs for DA

Has the DA given the ANC any posts in the Western Cape?

lol. It's all the DA's fault in my opinion, if you read what Zuma said at his inauguration and also his swearing in at Parliament, he was very reconciliatory in his tone. He showed this too by having the FF+ leader in his cabinet.

Gonna be interesting watching how the DA conducts itself in parliament. If they're trying to be the ruling party and not the perpetual opposition they need to stop being so aggro. They forget the ANCYL isn't a party and doesn't contest elections, even if they are a wing of the ANC no one really associates what they say with the actual mother party.

That said, I wonder if any COPE members got anything out of the allocations. They've been strangely quiet since the elections.:rolleyes:

EDIT: Oh, only spotted this now:

Yet you still don't present all the facts nor any links. And it wasn't Lynne Brown who pitched up, it was her assistant.

Actually the quote that started this was directed at the ANC, namely Jacob Zuma as president. How did this suddenly become about the ANC YL? :confused:

Meanwhile, another communications officer, spokeswoman to outgoing premier Lynne Brown, has already been told that her services are no longer required at the provincial administration.

An Wentzel said she and her assistant were barred from entering the provincial administration buildings on Friday.

Ok.. Sackboy.. there is an opinion, and trying to pass off an opinion as fact, which you try to do often and get challenged on often.

And as for your "evidence" its a hell of a lot of heresay... They were barred from the building, not locked out of their offices... They had been informed that they were to continue working from Leeuwenhof for the remainder of their contracts...

Their words, not mine. Turning up for work and then being told to go somewhere else is just rude.

Look, you don't seem to like it when anyone disagrees or has a different opinion amd you tend to get quite rude and personal. I think you're in for a rough life.

You were challenged on your claims (or opinion as you seem to think it is)... and your "evidence" was found to be severely lacking..

I think its more that you're in for a rough life if that gets to you as much as it seems to.

Well its happened to me before working in a big corporate its not rude, you're just a number in a LARGE group of other numbers and things occasionally get missed... and those 2 ppl who were barred were not what I'd call important people so they're easy to miss.

That doesn't make it right.

The DA holds itself up as a beacon of good practice, yet we find Zille rolling in the mud getting down and dirty with the ANCYL, throwing personal insults at the newly elected president and generally crowing and being an obnoxious mampara. Is it any wonder that the ANC does it back?

She didn't exactly personally insult the guy. She just stated the obvious about him potentially infecting his wives with HIV. Given that he did sleep with an HIV positive woman, you can't exactly call that a personal insult.

Did she need to state the obvious? I don't think so but she did so in any case and that's what makes her statement towards the president, not her most awe inspiring moment.
 
Who said anything about it being right?... It happens.... deal with.. move on....

You do seem to dwell and harp on about small things ALL the time... you must live an incredibly stressed out life.
