Witnesses said ANC national executive committee member Nomvula Mokonyane shouted what sounded like racist comments at FF Plus leader Pieter Mulder while he was speaking about tolerance.

Mulder, comparing the ANC to Zimbabwe's Zanu-PF, said while it was easy for the ruling party to preach tolerance, the real test of such tolerance would come at a time when it lost the elections like Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and had to hand over power to an opposition party.

"It's the same like your whites here (sic)," Mokonyane shouted in response.

Mokonyane also made loud comments as Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota prepared to address the gathering.

"Who is the president (of Cope)? Can the president please stand?" she shouted as Lekota walked to the podium to deliver his pledge, in reference to Cope's decision to put up Mvume Dandala as its presidential candidate.

When DA deputy leader Joe Seremane walked to the podium, Mokonyane made gestures directed at Seremane to ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema, who was also inside the hall.

Malema has been quoted before as saying Seremane's role in the DA is only to "smile nicely for the madam" on election posters.

Mokonyane loudly condemned the Women Forward Party when its representatives stood up to speak, labelling it a sexist party. "It is very sexist. That is a sexist party. What about men? They can't join it," she said, giggling.

She cheered loudly when it was ANC president Jacob Zuma's turn to speak.

She sounds drunk... :-D

Wow, can they damage the reputation of the ANC anymore?? This is great! Keep it up guys!
