They opposing their own decision? Me thinks they shat themselves when they saw how close the election was. Surely there must be penalties due to the overseas masters!
Its not quite that simple. This is opposition from the provincial ANC, whereas the decision was taken by the national ANC. Likely to lead to a very interesting clash.

E-tolls were conceived under the watch of an ANC Minister, supported by an ANC executive in Gauteng, passed into law by an ANC majority parliament, and signed, sealed and delivered by an ANC President.

DA has been opposing, and even going to court over e-toll with no progress made. I doubt this will lead to anything.
Of course, it's their own agency, and they told it to fight against them.
