Had there been a law that enforces trucks to be on a separate road or lane or allowed on these roads at specific times, this mornings tragedy wouldn't have happened.

Yes, the idiots who drive at 80 in the fast lane and refuse to move over are a danger and shouldn't be on the freeway at all, but they are not the major cause of accidents at all.

And lets just play devils advocate for a second, and assume that trucks were only allowed on the major national roads in urban areas after 09:00... there STILL would have been an accident since this vehicle was apparently not roadworthy... there may have been fewer vehicles involved, but that is purely an assumption since i don't know how busy that stretch of road is during the day after rush hour.

Majority of accidents are caused by people breaking the law. The guy doing 140 is more to blame than the idiot doing 80.

Step 1. Obey the law to the letter.
Step 2. Common courtesy.

Step 3 will be a huge drop in accidents.

vehicle tracking is a good idea, car gets stolen, just use these gantries to find out location. Avg speed is good too, but who drives so slow now on the highways? i mean 100kph on the N1 is ridiculous

Please tell me where this 100km/h speed limit on the GFIP N1 is...

Fair enuf don't use them as e-tolls.. Use them as speed traps. No one can complain about those huge things being no visible lol
