The other day one of my facebook 'friends' posts a status update on some ANC or YL thing or other in Limpopo. I then comment that the Limpopo ANC is getting rather powerful, believe their own hype & I'd support them if they weren't so corrupt. Later on several comrades join in and accuse me of holding 'funded views'. I laughed and appealed to a deity in my shock. A comrade then asked if I in fact knew God.

The ad hominems go on for a while, I try to explain why & how I think the Limpopo ANC is corrupt and they keep attacking my person. One of the other gems is, whether or not I myself am not corrupt. So, I lose patience and suggest they instead run off and learn more slogans to shout at the next rally:o

I found this all funny because when I post here I am accused of being a card carrying ANC member and even apparently having man love for Zuma. And amongst real ANC supporters I am accused of being an agent.

You're not an agent, you're a double agent :D

It also demonstrates how those accusing me are actually of like minds with my comrades on facebook.

In a previous 'debate' where I questioned their unwavering support for a champion of the poor who lives in a multi-million rand house, drives a million rand and 'showers' them with moet, I got asked how many millions I had.

Keep politics out of socialising...and religion. Sex, yes.

Well yeah, that's the way they roll. They don't have the collective brain power to think much through so instead they will accuse a person with opposing views of being exactly what that person has expressed in their opinion. For example, on this Dalai Lama thing, it was said by someone on the FB ANCYL page that their ('our' *sigh*) leaders were simply puppets pandering to the Chinese. Number one reply was something along the lines of "how deh u ..... . you a fkn puppet. nxa. fk u. eish. nxa. fk u. hands off juju. viva. amndla."

In a word, defiant. In two, defiant stupidity.

A case of two extremes? Opposed to each other but fundamentally the same?

Seems that ANC card you carry might not be worth the paper it's printed on when the Juju squad takes over.

And here we oppose your views using intelligent debate and facts. On FaceBook it seems they're intent on attacking you personally without and real argument to speak of.

Come out, go out, we will nationalise MyBB.:D

At first I though you support our cause but later I realized you only support your own twisted opinions. And been arrogant doesn't help either. A case of coconut at best and "chip on the shoulder" complex at worst. No R13, I don't fall for this. The success of our youth league is the consequence of your party's embarrassing failures. And no, you are not the only (sort off) educated African out there! I do support the youth league not necessarily because I agree with all the ideas but because they give me the opportunity of a opposition with which I can identify. You on the other hand are a traitor, only supporting people as long as they push you up the ladder. As soon as Malema becomes State President lots and lots of your kind will end-up in the location. Sorry for the rant but you bought this upon yourself. You are not only against the whities in here. You are against the majority of youths in South Africa too.

You identify with an "opposition" (who aren't really that at all btw, but more of an addendum to the party that is currently elected to govern the country) which is led by a bunch of imbeciles that are as corrupt as they come? Good to know.

say whaaaaaaat!? ha... ah ha ha.... ah hahahahahaha!

The success of our youth league is the consequence of your party's embarrassing failures.

Good point... it's certainly not because of any successes in its own right. It's an organisation full of hatred, greed, corruption and incompetence.

As soon as Malema becomes State President lots and lots of your kind will end-up in the location.

Such a nice fella. So what exactly do you and your organisation stand for? It's certainly not for the good of all. Please do enlighten us.

There is of course the chance that you're trolling... but in the off chance that this isn't, please do share.

R13... would you still be an ANC supporter if it meant that this generation of youth league end up in power?

Hoeka is being sarcastic.

I'm not a supporter or member of the ANC now. I supported them in the Mandela era, but now I don't. I'm not a party supporter.
