ANCYL message too late for centenary booklet

If you know English, which it is apparent you do in this post, use it correctly.

to be really honest

the term 'true colours' doesn't say much...

now you can go and add an ad hominen to that and have a self-righteous dizzy feeling in your toe that for some other reason I misunderstood you and then attribute that to the fact that I do not know English. Quite frankly you do not know how to express yourself if 'true colours' is all you can say and then assume I must know what you mean by that. It is a very vague statement to make.

It can mean anything from:
you showed your true colours to an old film called true colours and there is also a song called that..

Please clarify.

Here leme help..

"They ALL look the same" is a racist comment, whereas "They BOTH look the same" would not be, and I assume that's what you're saying you meant?

People are just trying being pedantic. They take a comment that 'can be interpreted as racist' and then automatically try and go out of their way to make it seem racist by changing 1 worth with another....Seriously if people try and sniff out racism in every 2nd comment then maybe they should grow up a bit.

Can be?

It was inherently racist.

Don't blame me because you haven't an inclination of care about others, or about conveying yourself correctly.

I do not care much about political correctness, it is the people who are to insecure about themselves and their race relations that try and attribute everything that they see and read to racism. I cannot blame them, you are correct, they have to live with their own insecurities not me.

Pointless debate. You were in the wrong, I showed you, now deal with it and let the thread continue.

No you just rebut with a "lalalalal, I'm right and your wrong" argument. I thought someone who is quick to point out the linguistic mistakes of others should know that this is a form of bad logic?

It is not pointless, you just proof to me that you like reading about race, you like pointing out that someone else 'might be racist' this implies to me that you are insecure about your own race relations. -deal with it.

As a matter of fact lets evaluate that statement,

"all black people look the same"
"all ants look the same"
"all trees look similar"
"all blond girls look the same"

For some other reason you find that "both of them look similar" as racist, in fact it could have meant that "all ANC members look the same", or "everyone on the ANC's Executive branch looks the same", but as a matter of fact you HAD to read it as "all black people look the same, therefore I'm racist".

If this isn't insecurity then I do no know what is.

ad hominens doesn't work in logic - try again.
insulting someone's argument instead of rebutting doesn't work either.

Perhaps I just couldn't care less about a pointless, pathetic argument with the likes of someone who conveys themselves with lack of respect and understanding for others.

Further, couldn't care less about debating with a youngster trying to educate me how to debate.

You do like to use ad hominens don't you?
You insult the argument - that didn't work out very well for you
Then you insult the age of the debater - that doesn't seem to work either
then you withdraw by insulting the debate/argument as being 'pointless' obviously because you couldn't rebut any of the point meaning until further proofs that you are insecure about your race relations and what others 'might think.

Either way, maybe you shouldn't just make arguments that you cannot back up or defend in the future and try to make assumptions on the behalf of others then this might have been avoided.

He referred to your statement "they all look the same"...

He referred to your statement "they all look the same"...

Which is exactly the same thing, but sure,

lets try that "all of them look the same" was changed to

"all black people look the same"
It could as well have meant "all ANC members look the same"
or "All members of the ANC's executive looks the same"

but he HAD to read it as "all black people look the same", I don't even find the phrase that "all black people look the same" as racist. However Postmanpat is obviously insecure about his race relations therefore he had to make sure that he can point out the flaws in others so he can try and hide his insecurities.

Let's get this thread back on topic, folks.

The ANC produced a "support message booklet" for the festivities, but their "message of support" was too late to the printers to be included in the booklet... does that mean the booklet was empty?

If I designed a photobook for a wedding, but was late sending the photos to the printers, then surely I'd be left with an empty book, or no book would be printed at all.

Makes no sense!
Oh wait.. ANC.

Makes perfect sense now. Sigh.
