If the residents actually paid for the electricity and water they use, and paid tax on the income they earn, and didn't act as if all their problems are caused by everyone else - yes, then they would have a right to complain. Well they only got these toilets when the DA came to power.

Of course all this situation has achieved is ensuring that communal toilets are the ONLY OPTION in the Western Cape from now on.

No matter how anyone tries to spin this latest ANCYL stunt, it is an act of vandalism. If the perpetrators cannot be identified then their leaders should be held accountable and be hauled before the courts.

It is also not up to the DA to uphold justice in the WC; it is the responsibility of SAPS and the NPA. Obviously they lack the political will to take any action.
