ANCYL website hacked again - July 2011

Seems it was done by these guys: www.unwembi.co.za/

Problem is their website is down.

Their website seems to be up, see they seem to have a lot of gov clients. thought it quite funny in light of the hack that the write up for the tech director is:

IM JENKIN | TECHNICAL DIRECTOR AND CHIEF PROGRAMMER |

Tim has over twenty years experience in information gathering and database management. He co-founded Unwembi in 1997. As Technical Director, he maintains Unwembi's web servers and network and designs intranets. As chief programmer, he is responsible for database development and ensuring that Unwembi's web sites employ the latest technologies.

Pity he forgot about security...

i hope the ANCYL now starts to realise that having a good (IT) education is worth it. idiots with money are no match for poor people with skills.

You want to know what is wrong with Nationalisation of anything in South Africa.

South Africa relies heavily on the mining industry for jobs and as a financial back bone to the country. Firstly which department in the South African government runs efficiently? The only one I can think of is the SARS office, all the other departments are run piss poor. Now all the people who are wanting nationalisation of the mines want to take effective and profitable mining institutions and place them in the hands of individiuals that have destroyed every other state owned entity. I guarantee that if the mines are nationalised all that will happen is they will be poorly run and our economy will take a huge dip and then when the ANC realise that it is not working, they will de-nationalise and sell the mines back to the East with huge backhanders landing in their pockets.

In a theoritical world I believe in certain industry's being state owned. Mining is one of those industry's that in a perfect world should be owned by the government and in essence by the people. Pity we do not live in such a country.

Agreed 100%

besides the hack what is wrong with nationlisation of mines CeeBee? am sure people are allowed to add their voices to issues whether u r are ok with or not. dont assume am supporting or against but am an open minded person who wants to really, really know what is wrong with that topic? maybe some economist or someone can spell it out for me cuz everyone says its end of days for SA if that happens. is that so?

Yes... be open-minded, make up your own mind, and for your own sake... learn to apply some thought right from the start and actually use that mind on your lonesome to try and figure stuff out instead of asking others to spell something out to you, whilst claiming to be open-minded. You need one of your own first, ok?
