well just phoned ibust about the roll out for cape town( their live btw in the cbd now(no prelaunch subscription though[V] ))

well the lady i spoke to basically confirmed that their gonna be running on the 3 gig system(pathetic if u ask me(u can thank telkom for giving ZA's this idea)) and if u want more bandwidth after that u have the option for a topup(nice of them to know from the start their potential for milking us). If u go over ure alloted 3 gigs they throw u on 64k speeds.

It sucks, but it depends how contended that 64kb/s is - if your still on the normal iBurst network segment (for want of a better description) and it's set so that you can only reach 64kb/s then in some ways it's better than Hellkom.

If they shove you onto another network and that 64kb/s is contended between all people who have gone over thier cap, that sucks real hard. Surely they wouldn't do that ?
