Hi Guys. I purchased this tv box from a buddy that needed money. Did not really want it, but here we are now.

Anyone with experience with it? I switched it on and it looks like any other TV box.
Maybe the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage not too bad.

It came out with Android 9.0.
Can this be upgraded and if so, where can I get the download software?

Thx

From my experience, these TV boxes get one version of Android loaded, and there are so many variations of these things, you cannot distinguish one from another, simply by model number/name, good luck finding an upgrade image/file that is intended for that board/unit.

Even if you find something, it may end up bricking your device, making it a somewhat expensive paperweight. So, you're stuck with that particular Android version, unless OTA updates are enabled/used for this type of device.

I tried building Linux for a TV box I had lying around, still not working as it should, because I don't have its device tree blob, for it it to be stable enough. I think it has to do with the PMIC stability.
