Unified RemoteLooking for an app that I can use to control Windows Media Player.
I was hoping that I don't have to install a service on my pc.
Can't really get round that, the app is normally tiny in terms of system useageI was hoping that I don't have to install a service on my pc.
Which android music app can play MP3's with gapless playback. That means no pause or silence between each track. I am listening to Faithless on Google Play Music and the songs are supposed to flow into each other, but there is an annoying gap between each track.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730431 if you have a custom recovery installed and are not on a Sony device.Sony's Walkman app is the best. If you're not using a Sony, you'll have to find the apk and sideload.
I just use spotifyOk so I have tried Poweramp and its definitely better than Google Play Music but there is still a small delay between tracks. So I tried another app, Gone Mad Music Player (R50 bucks for the full version) and it gives flawless playback with smooth transition between tracks.
Currently using the trial version. Valid for 15 days. Must still decide if I want to fork out 50 bucks for gapless playback.
I bought Gone Mad Player, it's good, haven't come across any serious issues and the developer seems on the ball.Ok so I have tried Poweramp and its definitely better than Google Play Music but there is still a small delay between tracks.
