Hey all,
When I used to google search from the chrome browser address bar on my android phone, the URL started with "google.co.za/...." and I could then under 'search tools', select to search South Africa as the country to specifically filter results.
Some time ago (months), this changed and it searches by default with "google.com/...", removing the option to filter by country. I have to manually edit the URL from .com to .co.za and then carry on.
I have tried everything including checking my Google account settings on the phone and online (PC browser) and cannot seem to be able to get it to search by google.co.za by default. I've looked at location permissions, you name it. The strange thing is I didn't make any changes to my phone settings to make the change initially. It is .co.za by default on my laptop Chrome browser and always has been.
Can anyone offer any help with this please, it's quite frustrating?
Thanks
