So a family member passed away and i need to access his phone to see if there are anything of importance on it.
I managed to get into the vodacom site to get the puk and unlock the sim but now the phone still has a lock screen code on.
I tried to use the "Find my Device" service from google to give the phone a temp unlock pin but it doesn't work as the service reports the phone already has a lock setup so it won't use the temp pin. I have access to the primary gmail account the phone was set up with..
Is there a way to force android device manager to use the pin from find my device or is it time to reset the phone?
