Thanks , I picked one up on Friday for R1099 . Its an awesome little box and I love the remote . The stupid sales person made me take a sim card with it and insisted he wants to install it so I told him it uses an eSim when h couldnt find the sim tray :laugh:

Er... no. Actually I was going to get a Mi Box S (I'm a bit Xiaomi fan) when I was overseas in a few months (wife isn't 100% sold on the Chromecast and the Fire TV just stopped working), but this popped up on Google search this morning (from Loot, I think).

So I bought one as it seemed like a good option right now, will let you know how it is once it arrives.

Use it don't use it.

i tried the hot spot route but still not connecting post switching ADSL to fibre
so ideally just needed remotes to reconnect but they dont sell them so was thinking of just buying new set up
either Roku + and utilise the remote
or alternative unit like the LIT

Use your cellphone as a remote I never bother with the remote
 
So who here has bought the Ematic box?
Any reviews?
